Original studio concept

Make a complex
choice feel clear.

A floor is a large decision, often made from a small swatch. Stillgrain starts with the room: the grain underfoot, the warmth of the light, and the way a finish changes the whole space.

We created an imagined flooring brand and a working material studio to close that gap. Customers can compare finishes in the same room, enter dimensions and plan quantities before taking a specification to a supplier.

The interactive experience

Choose a finish.
Plan a room.

Explore four finishes in the room, compare alternatives and calculate the boxes needed for your space, including a waste allowance.

The visual direction

One room.
Two moods.

Pale oak opens up the space. Walnut brings depth and warmth. Keeping the setting consistent lets the material become the decision.

Soft mineral tones and quiet typography carry that same restraint into the identity and interface.
